So.... does the Istan event happen just a small timegap ahead of the Lion's Arch event?
I won't have much time this evening to get into the game. My boss is forcing me to do overtime as it is halfway point through the financial year... and I want to get both masks (I wish I hadn't missed out on the Witch hat last year... nor trashed the Pumpkin I did get before the hat-maker showed up).

Actually i found that the MadKing came in LA first and then when he was done i went to the one of the higher districts in Kamadan he just arrived there..
so it's doable to just get the mask in LA then jump over to get the one in Kamadan.

Another fun Halloween with the Mad King. It's funny to see the people that intentionally die during Mad King Says...especially when they die in mid "Jump!".
A good time, as usual. Thanks again, A-Net!

True, it's funny to see people die during the Mad King Says game. But it still sucks that some people still call people who do the emotes when they're not supposed to "noobs" just to feel superior.

I've tried to make all the appearances today, I'm hoarding corn and cookies for dungeon running, and I can honestly say this year seems to be worse than last year. It's a real shame, I've seen a lot worse than "noobs" (which is bad enough), some people seem to forget not everyone is there every year at every showing.
But yeh, as much as I love this event my faith in human nature is sliding further and further down as the day progresses thanks to superior asshats who think that typing an emote quickly makes them special.

halloween masks
Ok, i know this has been said before, but for those that haven't seen this years masks, here they are:
Now especially the Mummy mask (although I'd wear the scarecrow mask on one character aswell...), please for the love of god, make the special mask actually usable and modable as normal headgear...
Come on ANet, we've been asking for this for a couple of years now...

The fact that you've been asking this for a couple of years should be a cue as to understanding they'll never listen.

I say scrap the both of them and roll out the Pumpkins/Wicked Hats again.
A year of waiting for something I missed... and we get these.
